“I received my Bachelors in Biology at Youngstown State University and my dental degree from The Ohio State University in 1997. I then moved to Oregon to completed a General Practice Residency program at OHSU, and have called Portland home since. I enjoy spending time with my wife Heather, and son, Armin, as well as photography and traveling. My wife and I co-founded PMIA-NW ( Partnership for International Medical Access- Northwest) a non- profit organization focusing on dental/medical outreach programs to underdeveloped communities. I work very closely with the Pearl District Neighborhood Association in sponsoring efforts impacting livability of the Pearl District. I also serve on the Oregon AGD Board. Professional development and education are very important to me personally, and achieving the Fellowship Award is a great milestone and has validated the effort that I’ve put into my continuing education since graduation.”
