Art + Chocolate + Wine = True Love!!
For February, Pearl Gallery & Framing is featuring lovebird themed art! Stop by First Thursday to get the best selection of small bites of delicious art, and stop by on February 13th for the full experience of the small bites of Art, Wine & Chocolates. Pearl Gallery is a proud sponsor of "Bon Bon: Small Bites of Delicious Art" - a district theme this month in honor of Valentine's day. This is a great opportunity to find great art at affordable prices.

Our featured artist is Henry W. Berger III, whose work emphasizes the "BIRDHEart" theme. In addition, we will be showing Giclee prints of work by Thomas Paul, Amy Butler, Johnathan Alder, and the New York Botanical Society. Each piece in this collection follows a lovebird theme, embodying the theme: "Bon Bon: Small Bites of Delicious Art." Sizes range from 6" x 6" to 9" x 6". Treat your loved one to a bite of art!

Berger has been creating and showing his work for three decades, always exploring new ideas while trying to find meaning in the mundane. His latest completed set of work is an exploration in pencil with the theme of the BIRDHEart. Berger has explored many mediums and styles, but underlying all of his work was one simple form that kept reccurring: a symbol, an icon, an archetype, the BIRDHEart. Driven to pursue a deeper understanding of this form, Berger developed this series of pencil drawings. Each piece is a reflection of a feeling, a moment in time, the thing inside that is so hard to express in words. Berger felt that pencil was the perfect medium to render these images, with its ability to show stark contrast and subtle variation within the same singular medium. Berger's work is custom-framed by Pearl Framing and approximately 21" x 24."
