The PDBA Board of Directors are always interested in hearing from members who want to get involved and are willing to commit a few hours a month to a great organization . Our businesses and our community will benefit from your contribution. Bruce is the owner and operator of two Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream and Frozen Yogurt Stores .After retiring form NIKE in 2003, Bruce first became involved with Ben and Jerry's by opening a "PartnerShop " for a local non profit. Through this retail program, Ben and Jerry's job trains and employs "at risk " and homeless youth.Liking the Ben and Jerry's business model, Bruce purchased the Ben and Jerry's Uptown Store in NW Portland about five years ago.Unable to say "no more", he opened the Pearl District location in July 2007.
Bruce has been a member of the PDBA for three years and a recent addition to the Board.
He and his wife moved to the Pearl District two years ago and absolutely love it ! Bruce currently serves as Vice Chair on the Board for a local condominium.
